Underground Atlanta: restored in 1968, this five-block area is home to the original downtown historic site of Underground Atlanta. You’ll notice as you walk along the amazing architectural features from granite archways, brickwork, hand-carved wood panels and posts, marble and original storefronts. Today it is known as a retail and entertainment center and you’ll be sure to walk through Underground Atlanta if you take MARTA to the Atlanta Braves game.
